The First Dual-SIM From LG: KS660

The First Dual-SIM From LG: KS660
Right after Samsung has entered on the dual phones market with their Samsung D980 Duos model, which , let’s admit, is entirely entitled to claim to be a luxury dual-SIM, now it’s LG’s turn to launch on the market their first dual-SIM with the LG KS660. They couldn’t pick a better time, especially now when LG outruns in the sales top Sony Ericsson and Motorola going up to number 3 right after the leaders Samsung, with which they already seem to compete, and Nokia who stands relaxed in pole position. LG KS660 comes with a candy bar design and WQVGA touch screen of 3 inch and a resolution of 400 x 240 pixels. To start with, besides China where dual-SIM is dominated by China crap, the market target was reoriented to Russia and its neighbors and we can figure that out because the handwriting recognition function includes, next to English and Russian, other languages like Ukrainian, Kazakh, Lithuanian and Estonian. Although it has a larger display than D980 Duos ( indeed, Duos has only 2 inch, let’s not forget that the D980 Duos display’s was build out of mineral glass resistant to scratches), the KS660 is also not a 3G phone, although it would have done a wonderful job with downloading and uploading, but it has only tri-band GSN/ GPRS/ EDGE. Other remarkable characteristics are the photo camera with auto focus and video recording of 5 MP, 50 MB internal memory – can be extended through micro SDHC card- Flash graphic interface and an accelerometer with which you can play. It will have all the top multimedia endowments from mp-3 player to Bluetooth and, as usual, there isn’t any info about the price for now. Via: Mobilegazette.com
