AgfaPhoto introduces three new Optima digital cameras
AgfaPhoto is preparing the launch of three new digital cameras from its Optima series, to be launched this September: models 1, 100 and 102.
All three cameras are low-end models aiming at begginer photographers ( or just lazy ones) and boast a large number of automatic and semiautomatic options, such as beauty mode, smile, bling and face detection, to begin with.
They have intuitive, self-explanatory menu instructions to provide up to 28 program functions; a manually-selectable ISO area of up to 3200 ensures good photos even when the light is poor, and contrast and brightnsess can be monitored by a histogram on the LCD display.
Additionally, a speech memo function enables you to record audio comments while taking photos, which is quite interesting and a lot of fun, too.
The Agfa Optima 1 comes with 12 MP resolution, 5x optical plus 4x digital zoom and with optical focal length of 28-140mm.
The Optima 1 camera is available in titanium-color for a retail price (MSRP) of 179 euros.
AgfaPhoto Optima 102 brings 12 MP resolution, 3 inch display, You Tube video format, 3x optical and 5x digital zoom, is 12 mm thin and can be purchased in titanium, red, rose, silver and black for 149 euros (MSRP).
AgfaPhoto Optima 100 features 10 MP resolution, 3x optical and 5x digital zoom, digital image stabilization, and additionally 29 functions to help the amateur photographers take the best pictures. The camera is compact and will fit into any pocket. It comes in chic titanium, red, rose, silver and black, and will have a price tag of 129 euros (MSRP plus VAT).
All new AgfaPhoto Optima cameras include a Li-Ion battery with charger, USB and AV cable, plus a CD with graphic software.
The three new models can be tested at the IFA Berlin from September 4 to 9.
