Toshiba Expands Ultra-Thin Laptop Lineup
At CES 2010, Toshiba introduced its new Satellite T100 line, bringing ultra-thin laptops to include models equipped with processors from AMD, delivering enhanced multimedia processing power to the ultra-thin category.
Satellite T100 Series laptops are designed for those looking for a stylish ultra-thin form factor that delivers a balance of performance, features and affordability needed for everyday mobility. New configurations based on the AMD NeoTM platform deliver the versatility of dual-core processor performance, plus ATI RadeonTM graphics that enhance the laptop's multimedia prowess.
At less than one-inch thin and weighing under four pounds, Satellite T100 Series laptops are topped with a stylish FusionTM Finish and feature comfortable full-size keyboards and TouchPadsTM with Multi-touch Control.
T100 laptops include a Hard Drive Impact Sensor that helps guard data from the daily bumps of mobile life and a USB port with Sleep-and-Charge technology to enable users to charge various products, even when the laptop is off. The models also feature Face Recognition and have a standard one-year limited international warranty.
Toshiba Satellite T100 notebooks are compatible with Windows 7, have spacious HDD up to 320GB, and lots of expansion ports, including HDMI output.
The new Satellite T100 Series laptops with AMD processors will be available in two screen sizes and various color options. Designed to be stylish both inside and out, Toshiba's Fusion Finish design extends inside the laptop, around the keyboard, touch pad and the display. The Satellite T135D features a 13.3-inch diagonal LED backlit widescreen display and will be available in Nova Black, Red and White, while the Satellite T115D offers an 11.6-inch diagonal widescreen LED backlit display and will be available in Nova Black.
The Satellite T135D (starting at $599.99 MSRP) and Satellite T115D (starting at $449.99 MSRP) laptops will be available on January 17 at major retailers, e-tailers and direct from Toshiba.
