Apple iPad - best kept secret finally unveiled
Apple's tablet was rumoured a long time ago, but up until now no one had a clue what the device looked like or what specs it will feature. Yesterday evening Steve Jobs has finally unveiled the iPad - best kept secret in the hi-tech world.
The gadget features 9.7" touchscreen with 1024x768 pixel of resolution, LED backlit and IPS (in-plane switching) technology. The display, according to Mr. Jobs, has view angle of 178 degrees and it's perfect for web browsing, as it shows the whole page at once.
The 13.4 mm thin tablet also comes with 16, 32 or 64 GB of flash memory, 1GHz processor, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and optional version with 3G module. It runs iPhone OS 3.2 and promises up to 10 hours of battery life.
