AL: AMC donates 22 wheelchairs for disabled persons
AMC sees the world full of care. Based on its social policies, AMC has supported the association of Paraplegic and Tetraplegic people.
AMC deputy marketing manager, Nikos Parastatidis, said: “All these years, the company has had successful collaborations with many institutions and associations which provide social assistance and care for disabled people. This program is one of many, aiming to improve your quality of life and simplify your integration in the community. We see the world full of care and this is the motto of many of our projects. AMC will continue to contribute for the people in need in the future”.
Meantime, the head of the association of Paraplegic and Tetraplegic people, Mylbere Prizreni, thanked AMC for the continuous support it provides for disabled people. “I would like to thank AMC for supporting us. AMC is not only facilitating the life of disabled people but it is also supporting their integration in the community”, Prizreni said.
AMC has undertaken many initiatives and social activities in the past such as donating a new “Braille” printer to the Institute for Blind People “Ramazan Kabashi”, donating a device for measuring the hearing problems to the maternity hospital “Koco Gliozheni”, the project “SMS of Hope” which every year donates a considerable amount of SMS proceeds to the people in need, etc.
