Smart Drive kit for iPhone
If you are a driver and an iPhone user, then you should try the Smart Drive kit. Daimler has announced that the Smart Drive kit for iPhoe will be available in Q2 2010. The kit consists of a cradle for hands free communication plus charging, and an app that "combines all the features needed on the road" by the means of "extra-large buttons and extra-large letters." It also features GPS. You will be able to listen to your favorite music from your music library or on the Internet radio. Daimler is also working on a camera for this kit that can identify speed limit signs, and can then warn you if you're speeding.
It’s a little bit expensive, though. 240 euro for the cradle, 9.99 euro for the application and 49.99 euro for on-board European and US maps plus live traffic data.
