EN: Motorola includes Bing in future Android phones
Motorola announced its new agreement with Microsoft, according to which the phone makers will use the software giant's Bing search engine and mapping services on its Google-powered Android smartphones.
This means that future Android phones by Motorola will feature Bing bookmark and search widget by default. Such devices will initially appear in China, where Google is not really welcomed, as you know.
"We believe that consumer choice is one of the most critical components to ensuring a rich and seamless client experience," said Christy Wyatt, corporate vice president of software and services at Motorola Mobile Devices.
