EN: Google gives up the mobile phone making
After Nexus One we did logically expect Nexus Two, Nexus Three etc. as most of the manufacturers today proceed instantly with their devices upgrade. However, all our optimistic thoughts did not prevent Google from getting out of the real phone making business. As Google CEO Eric Schmidt revealed - the company will not make a follow up to the Nexus One.
The official Schmidt's statement is that Nexus One is so successful and good enough for now and they do not intend to make another one soon. Google did not provide any statistic about the Nexus One sales at all but it seems like thay are please with the results.
For all the fans of Android the better news are that the operation system is working fine and there are lots of intersting devices coming up, so we do not have time to grieve for Nexus Next.
