A concept for $20 Linux notebook
A new concept Linux laptop called Humane Reader for students at a price of just $20 has been designed by Braddock Gaskill from San Gabriel Valley Linux Users Group. The device has a great capability especially for students - to store the entire contents of Wikipedia or around 5,000 e-books on a 2GB SD card.
All in all this would be a 8-bit general computing platform that could be connected to a TV in order the content to be displayed on televisions' screen. The Humane Reader device will be powered by a standard micro-USB mobile phone charger and will run under open-source Arduino software.
