iPhone 4 goes to 17 more countries on July 30, but not in White

Apple announced the its popular iPhone 4 will go on sale in an additional 17 countries on Friday, July 30, reported Reuters. The newest version of iPhone is already on sale in France, Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the U.S. and already in possession of many fans though the lack of signal in some cases. Beginning this Friday, customers can purchase iPhone 4 in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Singapore, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.


Together with iPad the iPhone is Apple's main growth driver and is expected to soon become its biggest source of revenue. The latest version will be in 88 countries by September, the company confirmed.

 

Still, the company delays the White version of the iPhone 4, saying it appear to be more challenging to manufacture than expected.
