RO: ANCOM rejected MCSI’s proposal to directly allocate a license for digital land telephony to SNR
MCSI devised a government decision project through which one of the licenses for digital land television is to be attributed to SNR by August 1st.
The license is to be attributed for 1 million euros, without a tender.
ANCOM rejected the project, explaining that it would change the entire strategy regarding the switch to digital land television in Romania. The fee for one of the first 2 licenses varies between 1 and 2.5 million euros. The specifications for the tender were purchased by 7 companies, including RCS&RDS, Romtelecom and SNR.
