RO: ANCOM and the digital television licenses in Romania
ANCOM started the attribution procedures of the first two digital television licenses in Romania.
Last week ANCOM extended the deadline for the presentation of offers with two weeks, for the companies interested, as Romtelecom, RCS&RDS, SNR, Media Sat, Osterreichische Rundfunksender GmbH&Co KG and General Satellite Sofia.
Romanian Government devised recently a decision that allows SNR to have a license without participating at the legal procedures, but because of the opposition of the National Audi-visual Council the Government decision was not validated.
