Asus combines long life batteries and great performance in the new B Series
The new B Series of Asus notebooks - B43 and B53, are targeted for business customers. So, they will be released equipped with Boston-Power's Sonata lithium-ion battery as a standard battery for longer life. The Boston-Power's Sonata lithium-ion battery offers cycle life of over 1000 cycles at 100% Depth Of Discharge (DOD) and fast charge: 80% capacity in 30 minutes; 40% capacity in 10 minutes. The new batteries will be included in both 14.1" B43 and 15.6" B53.

Both Asus B43 and B53 comes also with LED-backlit matte display with resolution 1366 x 768, Intel Core i5 or i7 processors depending on configuration, ATI Mobility Radeon 5470 graphics, 2 or 4 GB of RAM, 320GB 7200RPM hard drive, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, multi-card reader, 2MP webcam, microphone and 2.1, Altec Lansing speakers.
The Asus B53 will be available at a price of $1,065, the Asus B43 price is not known yet.
