The debut of 5” tablet Dell Streak
Again a piece of high tech for the U.S. Market, Dell's Streak will be available at pre-order from tomorrow at a price of $299 with a 2-year AT&T contract or at a price of $549 without contract .
We did already mention of Dell Streak, only now we have more details. So, now as the device is totally official we know it will be running under Android 1.6 with OTA upgrade to Android 2.2 later this year. The Dell Streak 5"capacitive multi-touch (800×480) display and is powered by 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. The mini tablet we used to know as Mini 5 supports GSM/EDGE, HSDPA / HSUPA:HSDPA 7.2 Mbps / HSUPA 5.76 Mbps, WiFi and Bluetooth, micro SD slot and have a two cameras - 5 MP with Auto-Focus and dual LED flash and VGA for video telephony.
Dell Streak will be released with integrated Google Maps with turn-by-turn navigation, street and satellite views, integrated social media apps: Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and 2GB of internal storage.
There are also some Dell Streak accessories you wil be able to order through Dell.com - Car Dock Kit for portable navigation and Home Audio/ Video Dock for synchronizing your Streak Tablet with PC and charging, also includes HDMI/charging dock, charging cable, sync cable, UK & EUR adapters.
