EN: Deutsche Telekom offers one of the most popular weather apps
The free www.wetter.info app for iPhone and Android phones has been downloaded more than 500,000 times so far, making it one of the most downloaded apps in the German market. Half a million users can view up-to-date weather data for thousands of locations around the world. The app gets data thanks to a network of around 1,200 weather stations in Germany alone and additional measuring stations from national weather services.
wetter.info provides up-to-date weather information, either as a weather map or a weather video. Weather forecasts can be set up and accessed for the user's preferred locations. It also provides information on the current weather situation and they report on special weather such as storm warnings, cold spells or record temperatures.
