Nokia X3 – the first 'Touch and Type' device
Nokia today unveils the super slim Nokia X3 Touch and Type, with a brand new combination of a touch screen and traditional 12 button phone keypad. As Nokia's first 'Touch and Type' phone, the Nokia X3 allows you to tap quickly on the bright color 2,4" touch screen, as well as enjoy the familiarity of the full keypad for quick fire text messages and phone calls.
The phone comes in at a 9.6 mm thin body, making it one of the slimmest Nokia phones ever and will come in 5 vibrant colors designed to suit any mood or wardrobe. Nokia X3 features 3G, WLAN, a music player and an FM radio, a 5 megapixel camera with 4X digital zoom that can take both still and video images, dedicated music and messaging keys, Ovi services and Nokia Messaging. Battery life is rated at 5 hours talk time or 17 days on standby.
Latest hit music can be stored on the available 16GB memory card and music lovers will definitely have the option to boost the Nokia X3's inbuilt speaker with some extra 'oomph' with the new MD-11, a light pocket-size speaker with great audio quality for EUR 25 excluding taxes and subsidies.
The Nokia X3 Touch and Type is expected to be on sale in Q3 for approximately EUR 125, excluding taxes and subsidies.
