EN: LG will launch the first Windows Phone 7 device
The announces about Windows Phone 7 are getting more and more intense and of course we cannot wait to grab the first smartphone when it comes out. Today, we have some more clear news for all you fans of the new technologies - LG will be the one to launch the first Windows Phone 7 device. Great!
And not only they rush to be the first but also they claim that Windows Phone 7 Series will blow away both Android and one more of their competitive companies. Whether Symbian, iOS or BlackBerry OS we did not understand completely but anyway the appearance of WP7... it's gonna be huge for the industry.
As if for LG, it seems like the manufacturer is counting on Windows once again. Just to remmeber that in 2009 LG announced they have plans to release about 20 smartphones running under the Microsoft OS, so far we remmember only LG KS20. After that the Android wave flooded the market.
Still we think that there is a place on the market for all the platforms and as most of the manufacturers have appetites for more than one OS we believe the future is in the rich gamma of mixed OS portfolios. Until perhaps they evolve in one sophisticated software system one day.
