EN: Over 250 000 apps in Apple App Store
There are now over 250 000 applications in Apple's online application store - App Store. The unofficial data claims the exact number is 252 894 and they are published by 50 606 developers. This leaves Android Market the only rival, but still not too close with its 100 000 apps.
43 809 applications are e-books, 36 719 is the number of the games and the most popular categories after that are Entertainment with 28 771, Education with 19 603 and Lifestyle - 16 023.
