Toshiba's Android 3.1 tablet is up for preorders
Toshiba announced that its new Thrive tablet with Android 3.1 is now available for preorder and its price is $429.99 for the 8 GB, $479.99 for the 16 GB and $579.99 for the 32 GB versions. The launch date and the deliveries will begin somewhere in July.
The 10" tablet features dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor at 1 GHz, 1 GB of DDR2 memory, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, SD card slot, HDMI output, mini and standard USB ports. There are two cameras - the rare one makes 5 MP photos and HD video, while the front-facing 2 MP cam is ideal for chat.
