Asus W90: The Perfect Laptop for Real Gamers
The laptop Asus W90 is dedicated to real gamers and can be considered a replacement for the desktop computer. It has a High Definition screen with a resolution of 18.4 inch, at which we add the fact that it has a graphic chipset from the best,of course- ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2, DDR2 RAM- from 800 up to 6 GB, Intel Core 2 Duo and a stocking space on a hard-disk with up to 1 TB.
For the audio experience, which we know how much counts in 3D-Shooters, horror games like Resident Evil or even into an auto simulator, the Asus W90 laptops have incorporated five speakers and one subwoofer which in translation means a great audio system for a laptop.
In the Computer Shopper review Asus W90 gaming laptop (or desktop computer replacement) is described as a 5.5 kg behemont, with an incredible color quality, wide viewing angles and all kind of superlatives for graphic, monitor and speed.
With the application Turbo Gear the gamers can overclock their processor 3, 5, 10, 15, or 17 percent, which in turn speeds up the processor clock. At its highest setting (17 percent), the CPU runs at 3.28GHz (versus 2.8GHz, its native speed). The application Turbo Gear also lets you enter into a power-saving mode and toggle between standard and overclocking modes.
What about the flaws, because we had to have some of these too, right? We should refer here to the fact that the Asus W90 doesn’t have a Blu-ray (although that may appear in the future, and its 2 MP camera has a grainy image quality (but which is good for chatting on Skype or Messenger).
It is obvious that Asus W90 is the best card for those who want and need a gaming laptop or just a replacement for the desktop computer, but all this performances come for a price of 2199$.
