Dell Adamo is a little heavier than the Air, the MacBook Air
After Dell launched an all in one computer, which has all it needs inside an LCD, Dell brings out the best in design and performance with the luxury laptop Dell Adamo, at which the first think that glimpses you is how thin it can be.
The shine aluminum shell really has the 90-60-90 dimensions of a model, that doesn’t eat until it feels it will faint- 0.65 inches thin (or a width of 16.55 mm). Regarding the ultraportables collection opened with the launching of MacBook Air, we can make a pun and say that “Adamo is heavier than the Air”, weighting 1.8kg in comparison with the 1.3kg of Air. Practically the ultraportables are for users what Puma shoes were for those who run.
To the laptop’s model-like look we can add the fineness offered by the aluminium shell and a 13.4inch screen with a 1280x720 resolution perfect for HD. Therefore, I don’t think it’s hard for one of Dell’s sayings to come true, and that someone could fall in love with Adamo or be surprised because this is a Dell.
Dell Adamo is an ultraportable fashion with a better waist that that of Macbook Air and even better with a half of inch that that of Voodoo envy 133 (but both are lighter) and the aspect is undoubtedly remarkable.
The main configuration is made of an Intel Corp 2 Duo processor at 1.2 Ghz, with 2 GB DDR3 RAM and a SSD of 128 GB. On the graphic part we have the chipset Intel GMX4500 (is the high-end for laptop, but it’s a lot more modest than nVidia GeForce 9400 of a MacBook Air). For those who are more exigent the performances can get up to an Intel Corp 2 Duo at 1.4 Ghz and an inernal memory of 4 GB DDR3 RAM.
Dell Adamo has a starting price of approximately $2000 for the standard configuration ($2700 with the maxim upgrades), but it will reach us crossing sea and land on March 26th at a much higher price ( the dollars will probably change into euros, which means approximately 2000 euros plus the necessary taxes).
