BIG guys investing in Fixed telephony and WIMAX:

BIG operators examining the possibility of entering the market:

During the last 2 years:
- 3rd operator entered the market (having a very optimistic plan to gain a good market share fighting with the big players, T-Mobile and COSMOFON)...
- new smaller retailers entered also the market (trying to imitate by copying the GERMANOS concept)...
- new hypermarkets expanding (with a plan to erode the share of the existing retail leaders)...
- international brands of digital products (SONY - NIKON) opening (or being close in opening) showrooms for their products....
- smaller dealers/distributors of digital products trying to establish their own showrooms....
- new big shopping malls in Skopje; one more - even bigger - under construction
It makes you wonder: what is happening in this market of 2.2 mil people?
How long it will take for the existing "smaller guys" and also those who took their chances with new investments to shrink?
Perhaps when the global crisis will affect even more this quite isolated market...?
